If you loosen the push buttons, the vertical part of the wind deflector slides down. However, the horizontal part remains fixed. You can install and remove it in just a few seconds. Thanks to the horizontal stiffening, the wind deflector closes very well at the sides and maintains the stability that prevents fluttering while driving. At the top of the roll bar, straps with metal inserts are stretched onto which the wind deflector is attached with snap fasteners. At the bottom, holders on the left and right clamp the wind deflector using quick-release fasteners. The seats can be placed all the way back. The Golf 1 BODI wind deflector in M optimally protects the driver and front passenger and guarantees a pleasant convertible ride. Alternatively, we also offer you the wind deflector in XL, which includes protection for the rear seats (if the rear seats are used as storage space, for example).
