How did Windesa come about?
Once upon a time...
At the beginning of the 2000s, we started developing wind deflectors for convertibles - actually for our own purposes. Not just any wind deflectors, but custom-fit, high-quality wind deflectors that were made entirely by hand. Word of the high quality of the "BODI wind deflectors" quickly spread among customers and so, over time, a team was formed that set itself the goal of making customers happy. Windesa GmbH was finally founded in 2007. Over time, further product lines were added, initially for the automotive sector and later also for the home sector. We have always remained true to our motto of manufacturing customised products to the highest quality standards.
Teamwork
Our employees in development, production, quality assurance and customer service have been working hand in hand for many years. Many years of experience, a high level of expertise and, of course, fun at work come together here. Moreover, Windesa has been owner-managed from the very beginning by the developer of BODI wind deflectors ☀️
What do we produce?
Our mission is to create products that protect you from environmental influences:

- from insects, rodents and vermin
- from pollen and fine dust
Wind and rain deflectors provide fresh air without disturbing draughts or rain from outside and round off the equipment of your vehicle.
Our patented WinClip window protection offers perfect protection at home against sun and UV rays, flies and rodents as well as pollen dust. The product range is constantly being expanded and adapted to new climatic challenges.
With the BODI wind deflectors, which we have developed especially for the older and timelessly beautiful VW Golf Cabrio models, travelling in a convertible is a pleasure protected from the wind and your convertible is a visual eye-catcher.
