Fly screens for plastic windows

Especially in summer, children often react with panic when insects buzz around. They frantically strike at the animals and are often stung. The inflammatory pain and excruciating itching prevent restful sleep at night. Effective mosquito protection in the children's room is definitely recommended and is usually affordable even for those on a small budget, such as fly screens for plastic windows.
Possible measures for good mosquito protection in the children's room
Essential oils in scent bowls can keep mosquitoes away, as can a mosquito net over the bed. However, these measures are not always optimal. Mosquito plugs that evaporate insecticides in the socket spread poisons in the room and should only be used in an emergency.
If you want long-lasting and effective mosquito protection, installing a fly screen in the window frame will provide the best results. It is possible to install them later, but most window manufacturers already offer tailor-made grilles for their plastic windows (more information from the Window + Facade Association).
Matching fly screens for plastic windows
When installing new plastic or aluminum windows, you can immediately install special insect protection systems such as the WinClip Bug. This is usually a fixed frame the size of the window cutout, which is equipped with a protective fabric. The fabric used appears almost transparent due to its fine mesh.
If you choose a black color, the protective net is hardly visible and light and air can pass through unhindered. Another advantage is the simple design of the grid frames, which can be integrated into any architectural style and match the construction material of each window. The precisely fitting frame is now pressed into the window frame using flexible handles and secured with rotating clips. Drilling or screwing is not necessary. Therefore, the grilles can be easily removed from the frame when cleaning windows.
More protection options
Just as windows can be provided with insect protection, it is also possible to attach fly screens to doors or roof windows. The frames and also the net inserts are made to fit precisely. There is often a circumferential brush seal running around the frame to keep out dust and insects. Suitable fly screens can be made for every window or door. Fly screens to choose from include:
- as a roller blind
- in the swivel frame
- as a pleated curtain
- with panels
- on a floor rail
