How did Windesa come about?

Once upon a time...

At the beginning of the 2000s, we started developing wind deflectors for convertibles - actually for our own purposes. Not just any wind deflectors, but custom-fit, high-quality wind deflectors that were made entirely by hand. Word of the high quality of the "BODI wind deflectors" quickly spread among customers and so, over time, a team was formed that set itself the goal of making customers happy. Windesa GmbH was finally founded in 2007. Over time, further product lines were added, initially for the automotive sector and later also for the home sector. We have always remained true to our motto of manufacturing customised products to the highest quality standards.

Teamwork

Our employees in development, production, quality assurance and customer service have been working hand in hand for many years. Many years of experience, a high level of expertise and, of course, fun at work come together here. Moreover, Windesa has been owner-managed from the very beginning by the developer of BODI wind deflectors ☀️

What do we produce?

We have focussed on products that protect you from environmental influences:

from heat and too much sunlight

from pollen or fine dust

We have been manufacturing premium sun shades for almost 20 years with great success. The sun visors protect you while driving and enhance the appearance of your car at the same time.

The patented WinClip window protection offers you protection at home from the sun, unwanted animals such as flies and mosquitoes and pollen dust. The product range is constantly being expanded and adapted to new climatic challenges.

With the BODI wind deflectors, which we have developed especially for the older and timelessly beautiful Golf Cabrio models, driving a convertible is a pleasure protected from the wind and your convertible is a visual eye-catcher.
